Key Features
The Hitachi CP-X2530WN XGA Multi-Region LCD Projector features an XGA 1024 x 768 native resolution and Polysilicon TFT 3LCD projection chip technology, which delivers authentic color reproduction in most lighting conditions. The CP-X2530WN provides 2700 ANSI lumens of white and color brightness, as well as a high 4000:1 contrast ratio. This results in bright and well defined presentations - even in excessive ambient light. The 6.6 lb projector is also portable, so you can easily move it from classroom to classroom or conference room to conference room.
The CP-X2530WN is equipped with vertical keystone correction, manual focus and 1.2x manual zoom. It's compatible with HDTV, NTSC, PAL and SEACAM systems. The CP-X2530WN also has an HDMI input, dual VGA inputs and a variety of other analog video input options. There are several audio inputs as well. Plus, you can play back audio using the built-in 16W mono speaker, which also supports audio pass-through in a low power mode. However, there is an audio output as well. There are also multiple USB inputs that support USB display, PC-less presenting, wireless network connection (Wi-Fi adapter required) and USB mouse control.
The CP-X2530WN Ethernet jack supports network connection. This allows you to integrate the projector with Crestron, PJ-Link and AMX Device Discovery for remote operation and audits of network projectors. This model also features multiple picture modes and a teaching template function with four line patterns to choose from. There are several security measures as well. Other features include a highly customizable design and low cost of ownership thanks to the Eco Mode, the long-lamp life and the Hybrid Filter.
3LCD Technology
This sophisticated LCD technology utilizes 8-bit color and three 0.63" Polysilicon TFT chips that deliver vibrant, true-to-life images.
Hybrid Filter & Long-Lamp Life
Supporting up to 5000 hours between maintenance, which is longer than conventional filters, the Hybrid Filter requires less frequent cleaning. This makes longer operation possible. Plus, rated at 5000 hours in Normal Mode and 6000 hours in Eco Mode, the long-lamp life also facilitates limited maintenance. This extension in maintenance intervals significantly reduces the overall cost of ownership.
HDMI Input
Display the highest quality image by connecting your A/V equipment to the projector using its single HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) input. The projector's HDMI input is also HDCP compatible.
2700 ANSI Lumens of Brightness
With 2700 ANSI lumens of both white light and color light output in Normal Mode, the CP-X2530WN can project a clear image with authentic color reproduction in any classroom or conference room. It also supports 1800 ANSI lumens or white and color light output in Eco Mode.
AMX Device Discovery
When integrated with an AMX Controller, the relevant communication modules and drivers are downloaded to the projector automatically.
Crestron RoomView
When connected to Crestron software, you'll have integrated control of up to 250 projectors including power control, message display on multiple projectors and monitoring total lamp usage hours.
Other Network Features
This projector also supports Network Presentation with PC still image transfer or PC moving image transfer. Network connectivity also supports configure and control via web browser, receiving alerts via e-mail, projector management via SNMP and scheduling. You can also transfer MyImage content and displayed text data via the network. Command Control is also supported via the network, as is PJ Link and Network Bridge.
Picture Modes Including Whiteboard Mode
This projector features several Picture Modes including Normal, Cinema, Dynamic, Blackboard, Greenboard, Photo and Whiteboard. The exclusive Whiteboard Mode protects teacher and student eye health. It limits the peak white by changing the gamma curve limiting its brightness when used with a whiteboard. There's also a useful Daytime Mode.
Template Function for Teaching
Line templates in the projector menu can help when writing on a whiteboard. There are four types of line templates to choose from for a variety of teaching situations.
MySource Buttons & Other Customizable Features
Two customizable MySource buttons on the remote control allow users to create a shortcut for any projector command such as Picture Mode or Filter Reset. Plus, a default Blank button hides the projected image or can be changed to a shortcut for any projector command using the MyButton feature. It includes a customizable MyMemory function as well.
Transition Detector & Other Security Features
A security sensor located inside the projector recognizes when the projector has been moved. Moving the projector without using the correct PIN code will disable the projector. Other security measures include a security bar, a Key Lock (key pad and remote control), a Kensington lock slot and Security Label feature.
PIN-Lock, MyScreen & MyText
With PIN-Lock protection, you can limit who can use the projector. MyScreen PIN Lock keeps your captured images on the start-up screen. With MyText, users can set a school name or company logo to the start-up screen, thus clearly identifying ownership. MyText provides the ability to write text on the start-up screen as well, such as model name, serial number or location. This will clearly identify ownership and the location where the projector belongs.
Input Source Naming
Exclusive to Hitachi, this feature allows users to name input sources in simple language instead of relying on the factory default name. It also supports an audio ports assign feature.
Closed Captioning
The built-in closed caption decoder transforms words into subtitles that are then projected onto the screen; a convenient function that addresses the needs of language students and hearing impaired viewers. It works for NTSC and component 480i video only.
Built-In 16W Speaker
A 16W built-in mono speaker eliminates the need to connect external speakers through the audio output jack.
Audio Pass Through
Conveniently, an audio signal can be passed through the projector's audio output jack to external speakers while in standby mode. This provides lamp energy savings when you only require sound.
Serial Number Label on Side
Upside-down and easily viewable, the model name and serial number are readable even when the projector is ceiling mounted. This is convenient for users or auditors who need to be able to check serial numbers or model names for upkeep or verification. It supports a MAC address label on the side as well.
Power Features
The auto-switching power supply supports worldwide voltage standards and it features standard Power On / Power Off, Direct On and Auto Off.
Digital Keystone Correction
This projector supports digital vertical 6:1 upward shift keystone correction at an angle of ± 30° when the projector is using its native XGA resolution at 60 Hz.
Top Load Lamp & Easy Filter Maintenance
Easy maintenance is another attractive function, as the lamp door is on top of the model and the filter slides to the front for easy access.
